ISES TORONTO MARCH  MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Joey & Gina's Comedy Wedding Highlights
March started off with DeAngelis Entertainment showcasing their hilarious performance of Joey & Gina's Comedy Wedding to our ISES group. The Renaissance Banquet Hall spoiled our group with a gourmet 5 course meal and like a true wedding, the bridal party provided all of the crazy entertainment! This show is a true hit and if you're looking for a great way to entertain a large group during an evening DeAngelis Entertainment is your answer! http://www.joeyandgina.com/

THANK YOU TO OUR MEETING SPONSOR

Canadian Special Events and Meetings Expo - ISES Toronto Highlights

The Canadian Event Perspective Magazine hosted the Canadian Special Events & Meetings Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre March 24 - 26th. It was great to see so many ISES Members being showcased amongst the Cocktail Reception and the tradeshow floor, including A2D2, DeAngelis Entertainment, Designing Trendz, Décor & More, Stardust Events, Star Productions, Luxury Coach along with our very own ISES Canada/Toronto Chapter booth.

We drummed up lots of interest in the Chapter amongst potential new members and we're excited to be welcoming many new members. Be sure to attend the April "Olympic" evening to meet our newest members.

The CSEME Expo week ended with it's Annual Awards Gala at Atlantis (Dynamic Hospitality), produced by Chapter member Carolyn Luscombe, Eclectic Events International Inc. The evening showcased an East Asia flare with martial arts entertainers, eastern menu and stunning décor. Guests were treated to A2D2 aerial acrobatics during dinner, followed by chocolate fountains flowing in two separate rooms, complimentary massages and tarot card readings.

The SEARCH Foundation Scholarships

The SEARCH Foundation has teamed up with ISES & ISES Eventworld® 2010 to provide twenty (20) scholarships for the full education registration at this year's conference.

This year's ISES Eventworld® will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, August 5-8. Twenty members of each of the active ISES chapters will be nominated, and selected by each chapter and approved by SEARCH on a first-come basis. This one-time promotion was made possible by the merging of ISEF (International Special Events Foundation) into the SEARCH Foundation this past December 2009. The SEARCH Foundation is committed to fulfilling the continuing education principles established by ISEF and following the ISES mission statement. Nomination forms available on the ISES Toronto website.

All applications must be submitted to SEARCH by June 1, 2010 or earlier. Since this is a first-come first-serve basis, WE HIGHLY SUGGEST that you do not wait until the deadline. (Note: Current Chapter Board members are ineligible for these scholarships. Also, recipients of a scholarship to TSE 2010 are ineligible.)

If you have any questions contact Corinne Dudine at Corinne@SEARCHfoundation.org  or via phone: 480.538.7912.

We hope you will take advantage of this incredible opportunity for one lucky rising star in your chapter.

Visit the ISES Toronto Chapter website to download the application forms:
